Prize XVIII UNCuyo Business Incubator Competition 2022

The XVIII Call for Ideas-Projects of the Business Incubator of the National University of Cuyo (UNCUYO), a prestigious university located in Mendoza, Argentina, was held in September 2022. The call is aimed at technology-based, innovative andor scientific business initiatives that can generate products andor services susceptible of scalable and global commercialization. The model used implements comprehensive incubation plans in order to reduce the risks of ventures in the early stages and consolidate the entrepreneurial teams to face the complexities involved in the generation, start-up and development of a high-potential venture. That year, 85 projects participated, of which the Incubator's technical team pre-selected 56, which began the induction and training stage. At the end of this stage, a demanding jury made up of professionals from the UNCUYO Incubator and the UNCuyo's Liaison Area, evaluated the composition of the entrepreneurial teams, the level of development, the potential for scalability, innovation and impact of the project. After an exhaustive review process, only 11 projects were selected, including Neurality Technological Solutions, with simulators for neurosurgeon training using virtual reality and haptic technology.

Among the benefits offered by the Incubator are personalized tutoring according to the needs of the entrepreneurial team, access to lines of financing, participation in the Mentor Network where entrepreneurs are linked to recognized companies in the environment, training to strengthen ideas and physical space to develop projects. During 2023 Neurality carried out the Pre Incubation, with intensive training as triggers of critical issues in the development and strengthening of the entrepreneurial project and now, in 2024, Neurality advanced to the formal stage of company Incubation, benefiting from all the previous training that was reflected in a series of important Awards during the second half of 2023.

The evaluation process of the XVIII Call for Project Ideas of the UNCUYO Incubator was successfully completed
